We have come to the end of a fantastic Maths Week. The aim of this week was to encourage a positive attitude towards maths, raise awareness of the importance of maths in their lives and environment, to improve pupils’ attitude to the subject and to develop pupils’ positive views of their own potential. We are delighted that we hit all these targets through fun games, Lego activities, maths trails, online competitions, quizzes, art projects, times table competitions and many more activities. We even estimated and measured how many people would fit between Mr. Kenny’s office and 6th Class. Great fun was had by all and we are already looking forward to Maths Week next year.
