Ms. Connick and her Junior Infants took on the task of making their own butter this week. They first put fresh cream into clean glass jars. Ms. Connick mad sure the lids were very tight as we did not want any of the cream to escape. Then, children shook and shook the cream until the jars became heavier and heavier. And then, much to great excitement the children could see that the cream was all gone and all that was in the jar was their lovely creamy butter. Everyone enjoyed their snack of crackers and butter after all their hard work.
